 King the Dog Was All Dressed Up for His Adoption Day—But the Family Never Showed Up 🐾❤️

King was all dressed up and ready to meet the family who might change his life ❤️🐾 After being found as a stray, he was taken in by Patty Baker Humane Society Naples when another shelter ran out of space. Staff quickly fell in love with his sweet, goofy personality and friendly nature with people and other dogs.

When a meet-and-greet was scheduled, everyone was full of hope. King was dressed in an “Adopt Me” bandana and even a cowboy hat, looking happy and ready for his big moment. But sadly, the family never showed up.

It was a disappointing setback for this loving pup, but King hasn’t lost his spirit. He continues to charm everyone he meets with his playful energy and affectionate heart. Now he’s still waiting for the right person to finally take him home and give him the forever family he deserves 🏡❤️
