Isabel Klee Shares Hopeful Update on Dog Simon Following Cancer Diagnosis

Content creator and author Isabel Klee has shared an encouraging update on her beloved dog Simon after revealing earlier in May that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

In a video posted on May 27, Klee told her followers that Simon is “doing good” and now able to “walk around on his own,” though she noted he is still “a little clumsy” as he continues to recover.

The update follows a more detailed post shared on May 25, where Klee said Simon had regained his ability to walk independently and was also showing a strong appetite—an uplifting sign for his recovery.

She added that Simon had even started playing with his toys again, something she described as “so nice to see,” bringing relief to fans who have been following his journey.

Klee also shared positive medical news, revealing that recent MRI and CT scans showed the cancer had not spread to other parts of Simon’s body and was confined to his liver.

The updates have been met with support from followers, who continue to send messages of encouragement for Simon’s recovery.

Isabel Klee Shares Emotional Updates on Dog Simon’s Cancer Battle and Treatment Outlook

Content creator Isabel Klee, known online as @SimonSits, has shared a series of emotional updates about her dog Simon following his cancer diagnosis, offering both hope and difficult details about his condition.

In a recent update, Klee said she is still waiting to speak with multiple specialists to determine whether surgery is even an option for Simon.

“We don’t quite know what the next few weeks or months will look like. We’re just going to be taking it day by day,” she said. “I wanted to make this video to show you a few glimmers of hope that we’ve had over the past few days when Simon was a little bit more like his normal self. Yay!”

Klee first revealed Simon’s diagnosis in a May 21 Instagram video, explaining that he had been hospitalized in the ICU for several days after experiencing seizures. She shared that Simon suffered four seizures within a five-hour period early one morning, prompting urgent veterinary care.

She also explained Simon’s complex medical history, saying that an ultrasound performed in November had initially detected a mass on his liver. At the time, veterinarians believed it could be linked to his phenobarbital medication used to manage seizures, and he was gradually weaned off the drug.

However, a more recent scan showed that the tumor had grown, confirming a cancer diagnosis.

Despite the seriousness of his condition, Klee emphasized that her priority is Simon’s quality of life.

“The way that he has been recently is not at all who he really is,” she said. “And I know that I would rather him have a really good couple of months where he is himself and an extra year or two where he is a zombie like he currently is.”

She added that seeing Simon regain small moments of normal behavior—walking, eating, and playing—has provided “glimmers of hope” amid an uncertain medical journey.

Fans continue to follow Simon’s progress closely, sending messages of support as Klee and her veterinarians explore possible treatment options.
