A search is underway in Birmingham after a friendly Yorkshire Terrier named Zion went missing over the weekend.
The adult male dog disappeared from the Brandwood and Kings Heath area in the B14 postcode on the evening of May 23 and has not been seen since.
According to his listing, Zion is a blonde, tan, and black Yorkshire Terrier who is described as very friendly. However, he was not wearing his collar at the time he went missing, making it more difficult for people to identify him.
His owner said Zion vanished around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, sparking concern as searches continue throughout the local area.
Thankfully, Zion is microchipped, which could help reunite him with his family if he is found and taken to a vet or rescue center for scanning.
The missing dog report was created on May 25 by Naomi, who is urging anyone in the Brandwood or Kings Heath areas to keep an eye out for the small terrier and report any possible sightings.
Local residents are being encouraged to check gardens, garages, and nearby streets as hopes remain high for Zion’s safe return home.
