While preparing Edward for surgery, veterinarians performed full-body X-rays and made a shocking discovery — multiple foreign objects inside the dog’s body.
One object appeared in the dog’s colon, while a second, much larger item was trapped in his stomach. Fearing serious complications, the veterinary team immediately rushed Edward into emergency abdominal surgery.
“Our vet team had to perform emergency surgery to save his life,” Humane Society spokesperson Nash McCutchen explained.
